Hey everyone, I just moved to Freeport a few months ago and my car started making this weird grinding noise whenever I brake. I took it to one shop near the airport and they quoted me $400 just for a diagnostic—felt like a tourist trap. I'm near Port Lucaya Marketplace, so something close would be great. Anyone know a cheap but reliable mechanic around here? I don't need fancy, just someone who won't rip me off. I feel you, man. If you're near Port Lucaya, check out Tony's Auto on East Sunrise. He's helped a few expats I know and won't rip you off. Get a second opinion on that quote—grinding brakes could be just pads, not a $400 job. Ask around at the marina too, locals there know the honest spots.

Hey, welcome to Freeport! I had a similar issue with my brakes last year. Check out Tony's Auto Repair on East Sunrise Highway—he's honest and fair. He fixed my grinding noise for way less than $400. Tell him the guy with the blue Honda sent you. Hope this helps!
