I just witnessed a hit and run on Sandy Bay Road around 8:30am near the university turnoff. A white sedan (looked like a Toyota Camry, maybe 2010-ish) swerved into a cyclist and just sped off towards the city. The cyclist seemed okay but was pretty shaken up. I didn't get a clear plate number, just the first few letters were something like 'FE'. I checked my own car's dashcam but it only caught the aftermath. If anyone was driving that way and has footage, could you please check? The police said they'll take any evidence. This is the second time I've seen something like this in Hobart in just a month – people need to be more careful. Let me know if you have anything, and I'll pass it on to the cops. Cheers.
