Hey everyone! I just landed in Toronto a few weeks ago from the UK and I'm still getting my bearings. I'm a student at U of T and I've been exploring the city, but I really miss being around trees and water. I've heard about High Park and the Scarborough Bluffs, are those good for a day trip? Is there any place where you can actually swim in a lake without it being too crowded? Also, any hidden gems for hiking that aren't too far from downtown? I don't have a car yet, so places accessible by transit would be awesome. If anyone wants to join me for a walk this weekend, let me know! I'm free Saturday afternoon. Cheers!

I totally get you, I moved here from Ireland a couple years ago and felt the same way. The city can feel overwhelming without greenery. Check out High Park or the Don Valley trails—they're easy to reach from U of T and feel like a slice of nature. Also, the Rouge Park is worth a trip if you have a free weekend. It gets better, hang in there!
