Hey y'all, so I've been job hunting for a few weeks now and holy crap, there's so many fake listings. Saw one for a "data entry clerk" paying $35/hr — like, obviously too good to be true. They wanted me to deposit a check and send money via Zelle. Smelled fishy. Also, watch out for "mystery shopper" gigs that ask for upfront fees. Legit places like Powell's Books or New Seasons are always hiring but they post on their own sites, not random Craigslist ads. If you're looking, check out the tech scene too — lots of startups in the Pearl District. But seriously, don't give out your SSN or bank info until you've met in person. Anyone else run into sketchy stuff?
