Honestly, I've had it with CEX in the Galleries. They offered me a tenner for my Xbox One controller, and they'll sell it for 35 quid. Absolute joke. I've been selling my old clothes and electronics on Gumtree and Vinted instead—way better cash, and you're not getting rinsed. Also, if you're looking for cheap furniture, check out the British Heart Foundation on Stokes Croft. Found a solid wooden desk there for 20 quid. Oh, and watch out for that bloke who posts 'buying anything' on Bristol Freecycle—he's just a reseller who'll lowball you. Rant over. 🤷
