Yo, anyone know a good bar for craft beer in Kazan? I'm tired of the same old lagers at standard places. I've been to Pivobar on Bauman, but it's kinda hit or miss. There's this place called Beer & Beard near Tukay Square I've heard about -- is it worth checking out? I'm into IPAs and stouts, not too fancy, just good vibes and maybe a snack menu. Also, if anyone's down to grab a beer this Friday, hit me up! I'm newish to the city and looking to meet people. Cheers!

Actually, I'd push back on Pivobar being hit or miss—their rotation is solid if you ask the staff what's fresh. But if you want a real gem, skip Bauman and try 'Beer & Beard' on Profsoyuznaya. It's small, but they carry local breweries you won't find elsewhere, and the owner really knows his stuff. Not as touristy, more authentic vibe. Give it a shot.
