Is it just me or does everyone here walk like they've got nowhere to be? I swear, crossing the street in Nis feels like a game of chicken compared to Belgrade. People actually stop for pedestrians! I've been here two weeks and still can't figure out if 'samo polako' is a suggestion or the official city motto. Also, why does every café close at 11pm? Coming from a city that never sleeps, this is a shock. Anyone else feel like time moves slower here? Not complaining, just... adjusting. 😅
