Hey everyone, I've been in Prague for about a month now and I'm getting a bit tired of the usual tourist spots. I live near I.P. Pavlova and I'm looking for a place that serves good, authentic Czech food but maybe with a twist? Or even something completely different like Korean or Ethiopian—I just want a proper meal that isn't drowning in oil. I walked past a place called 'Sia' on the way to Karlovo náměstí, looks interesting? Also, any recommendations for a cozy pub where locals actually go, not just a beer hall full of stag parties? Bonus points if they have decent vegetarian options. Děkuju!

I feel you, I've been here 3 months and was getting sick of fried cheese too. Try Lokál at I.P. Pavlova - they have daily lunch menus with traditional stuff like svíčková or beef goulash, but it's way better than tourist places. Also check out Havelská Koruna for a classic self-service spot with varied options. Both are authentic and cheap!
