Hey everyone, just landed in Brunei a few weeks ago for work and I'm trying to find a decent place to rent in Gadong. I've been browsing online but most listings are in Malay or just not very clear. Can anyone recommend a reliable agent or a Facebook group where expats post rentals? I'm looking for a studio or small apartment, preferably near the mall or the bus terminal. Budget is around $500-700 per month. Also, is it normal for landlords to ask for 6 months' rent upfront? That seems kinda crazy. Any tips would be appreciated – this whole process is stressing me out. Thanks!
