Just got totally ripped off by a moving company called 'Daegu Movers' (something like that). They quoted me 200,000 won, then after they loaded the truck, demanded 500,000. I tried to argue, but they got aggressive and threatened to dump my stuff on the street. Had to pay up – felt awful. Now I'm out 300k extra and they even 'lost' a box of kitchen stuff. I'm new here and didn't know any better. Don't make my mistake. Anyone know a legit moving service in Daegu? Or how to report these guys? I still have their phone number. Feel free to DM me for details. Let's look out for each other.

Sorry to hear that. Avoid any company that doesn't give a fixed quote in writing. Next time, use a reputable service like 'Movers Korea' or 'Yongdong' - they're more reliable with upfront pricing. Also, check reviews on local expat forums or Naver before booking. Hope it works out!

That's terrible! Thanks for the warning. I was actually considering using a random moving company I saw online. Guess I'll stick with a well-known one or ask for recommendations. Did you file a police report or contact the consumer agency?
