I've been job hunting for a few weeks now in Xiamen and it's driving me crazy. I've got a decent background in tech but everything seems to require local experience or connections. Applied to a bunch of companies near the Software Park but haven't heard back. Anybody know which companies actually respond to online applications? Or should I just go door knocking at the startups near Zhongshan Road? Also, is it just me or are the salaries here way lower than I expected? Rant over. Would appreciate any advice – even if it's just a heads up about which recruitment platforms actually work in Xiamen. Cheers!
