Hey everyone, I just moved to Izmir and I’m trying to set up my apartment. I’m looking for a decent chef’s knife—like something that can actually cut through a tomato without squishing it. I’ve been to a few places in Kemeraltı, but most of the stalls just have cheap plastic-handled stuff. Is there a proper cookware store around? I heard about this place called Karaca maybe? Or is there a bazaar day where knife sellers set up? Also, I’m on a student budget, so not looking for super fancy Japanese knives, just something solid. Any tips? Thanks a ton!
