Hey everyone, just moved to Antalya a couple weeks ago and I'm trying to figure out the food scene. I've been to a few touristy places near the marina, but I'm craving real Turkish food, not the overpriced stuff. Any recommendations for authentic kebabs or meyhane? I heard about a place called Şişçi Ramiz but not sure if that's legit. Also, what's the deal with pide? Is it like pizza? I tried some from a random spot near Kaleiçi and it was just okay. Oh, and if anyone knows a good spot for baklava that's not too sweet, that'd be amazing. I'm near Lara Beach if that helps. Thanks a ton!

I totally get it! I've been here for a few months and had the same struggle at first. Try heading to the narrow streets behind the main bazaar in Muratpaşa—there's a tiny place called Şişçi Ramiz that does incredible Adana kebabs for like 30 lira. Also, don't miss the pide at Pideci Ömer in Kaleiçi. Feels so much more authentic than the marina spots!
