Hey everyone! Just moved here from overseas and I'm trying to find a good place to study or work remotely. I've tried the Halifax Central Library a few times, but it gets pretty noisy, especially on weekends. Is there a specific floor or section that's quieter? Also, I heard about the Killam Library at Dalhousie – do non-students have access? I'm also looking for cafes with reliable Wi-Fi and outlets. Tried Uncommon Grounds on South Park, but it was packed. Any hidden gems? Bonus if they're open late. Thanks in advance!

Oh, I totally get you! The library can be surprisingly loud sometimes. I’ve found the Killam Library at Dalhousie University has some quiet corners, especially on upper floors. Also, the Public Archives on University Avenue is super silent and has free wifi. Hope that helps!
