Hey everyone! I just moved here from overseas and I'm a bit lost on what to do on weekends. I see people posting pics of Bondi Beach and the Opera House, but is that really what everyone does? I tried going to Bondi last Saturday and it was packed – like sardines. Is there a secret spot locals go to? Also, I heard about the markets at The Rocks – is that worth checking out? I'm kinda broke from rent and don't want to spend a fortune. Any tips for free or cheap stuff? I'm into hiking but don't want to do the super touristy Coastal Walk again. Oh, and is it normal for everything to close early? I was wandering around Newtown at 9pm and it felt dead. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places? Would love some advice from locals or fellow newbies!
