Hey everyone, just moved here for uni and I'm trying to open a bank account near Central—like HSBC or Standard Chartered on Queen's Road. But the bank lady said I need a proof of address, which I don't have yet since I'm in a serviced apartment for a month. Is there any way around this? I've heard about Octopus cards for small payments, but I need an actual account for my scholarship money. Feeling a bit lost and frustrated tbh. Any advice would be super appreciated! 🙏
