Hey everyone! I just moved to Ankara for a study exchange and I'm super excited to explore the nature around here. I heard there are some great hiking spots near the city, like Dikmen Vadisi or maybe even out towards Beypazarı. But I have a problem – I forgot to pack my hiking boots back home in Canada, and I need a new pair ASAP. I've been to a few places like the mall in Kızılay, but everything seems super expensive or not really meant for serious trails. Does anyone know where I can find good quality, affordable boots here? Like, maybe a Decathlon or something similar? Or is there a local shop that sells proper gear? I'm a bit lost because I don't know the brands here. Also, any tips on what to look for? I don't want to end up with blisters on my first hike! Thanks a ton!
