Hey everyone! I just moved here from overseas and I'm absolutely loving Calgary so far. But I'm on a tight budget and I've heard thrifting is huge in Canada. I tried Value Village on Macleod Trail and it was okay, but honestly I felt a bit overwhelmed. Are there any hidden gems? Like, I've heard about the Women in Need Society thrift store but is it worth the drive? Also, what's the deal with Goodwill here? Is it better than Value Village? I'm looking for clothes mostly, but also maybe some kitchen stuff. I saw a place called MCC Thrift on 58 Ave SE - any good? Also, how do you guys feel about the prices? I saw a used t-shirt for $12 at VV and thought that's crazy! Am I being cheap or is that normal? Any tips for a newbie would be awesome. Thanks!
