Where to get good Korean food in Chicago?

Cho Sun Ok on Lincoln is the classic — been there forever, the naengmyeon is perfect. For KBBQ, San Soo Gab San on Western is a Chicago institution.

Moved to Chicago from LA and I'm seriously missing good Korean food. Tried a couple places in the loop but they were all overpriced and underwhelming. Heard Koreatown is up near Albany Park but haven't made it there yet. Where do Chicagoans actually go for legit Korean BBQ and jjigae?

What kind of Korean food specifically? BBQ, soups, fried chicken? Chicago has different spots that specialise in different things.

Chicago's Korean food scene is underrated. Albany Park has legit spots that rival anywhere — you just have to know where to look.
