Took the Overground up to Hampstead for a Sunday roast at this pub near the Heath. Proper Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes, gravy that had clearly been simmering since breakfast. Then walked it off on the Heath for two hours. Peak London Sunday. The dog spotting on Parliament Hill afterwards was elite.

Sunday roast + Hampstead Heath walk is the most London Sunday possible and I mean that as the highest compliment. Was there a golden retriever on Parliament Hill? There's always at least three.
