Looking for the best way to get to Siloso Beach from Chinatown

Hey everyone! I just moved to Singapore for work and I'm trying to plan a trip to Sentosa this weekend. I want to hit Siloso Beach specifically. I'm staying near Chinatown and I've heard about the cable car, the MRT, and even walking? But I have no idea which is actually fastest or cheapest. Also, do I need to pay an entrance fee for Sentosa itself? Any tips on avoiding the crowds or good times to go would be super helpful. I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the options. Thanks in advance!

Hey! Since you're near Chinatown, I'd suggest taking the MRT to HarbourFront, then hopping on the Sentosa Express monorail. It's super easy and way cheaper than a cab. Plus, you'll avoid weekend traffic! From the monorail stop, just take the beach tram right to Siloso. Have a great time!

Hey, I was in the same boat a few months ago! From Chinatown, you can take the MRT to HarbourFront (NE line), then hop on the Sentosa Express monorail—super easy. That drops you near the beach, and there's a shuttle bus to Siloso. Cab works too but can add up. Have fun, the beach is great!
