I know it's a cliché, but I've been dying to try proper haggis since I landed. I finally went to The Ubiquitous Chip and man, that stuff is legit. Creamy neeps and tatties on the side, and the whisky sauce was the real deal. Not cheap at £16, but worth it for a taste of Scotland. Also tried the deep-fried Mars bar at a chippy near Central Station – weird but surprisingly good. Anyone tried that? Also got a tip for a cheap but tasty curry house in the West End?
