Just wanted to warn everyone about a company called SwiftMove Removals. I hired them to move my stuff from a flat in Digbeth to a new place near the Jewellery Quarter. They quoted £280 for a small van and two men for 3 hours. On the day, they showed up 2 hours late, then claimed the quote was 'per person per hour' so it was actually £560. When I refused, they threatened to leave my stuff on the street. I ended up paying £450 just to get my belongings. The guys were rude and one of them even dropped my TV. Now they're not answering my calls. If you're moving in Birmingham, stay far away from SwiftMove. If anyone knows a legit moving company that doesn't rip off newcomers, please tell me. I'm a student and can't afford to lose more money.
