Hey, welcome to the area! Honestly, Arab Street and Haji Lane are pretty safe at night too, just stick to the main lit streets. I'd avoid the darker alleys behind the shophouses. There's a 24hr convenience store on Beach Road that's always busy—good spot to grab a drink and chill. Also, the mosque area tends to have people around even late. Just stay aware and you'll be fine!
