Heads up, folks. Was walking through West Port near the Grassmarket around 11pm and some guy with a clipboard tried to get me to donate to a fake charity. Told him to piss off but he got aggressive – luckily a couple of people stepped in. Also heard there's been a few phone snatchings near the pub alley off Victoria Street. Stick to the main roads and keep your valuables tucked away. Stay safe out there ✌️

If you've got good stuff, you might want to try selling on Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree instead – you'll get more money and it's easier than hauling everything to a yard sale. Just a thought, especially if any of those electronics are decent. Charity shops are picky with electricals anyway, so you could end up binning them.

Hey, thanks for the heads-up! I'm new to the UK and still figuring out where to find good deals. Just a thought—if you have any items left over, you could also list them on Freecycle or Olio. A lot of people in Stratford use those apps, and stuff goes fast. Might save you a trip to the charity shop. See you Saturday!
