Alright, I'm on a mission. I've had Hakata Gensuke, I've done Ippudo, but I'm after that ramen spot that's tucked away in some random alley and blows your mind. Like, the one with the incredible broth that you can't stop thinking about. Anyone got a secret spot? I'm talking proper tonkotsu, maybe even a tsukemen joint. Sorry to hear that, mate. Same thing happened to me with a different mob—lowball quote then mysteriously doubles. Always get a written quote and check reviews on multiple sites. Hope you get your stuff sorted.

Mate, I feel your pain. Had a similar nightmare with 'Quick Move Perth' when I first moved here from the UK. Quoted $300, ended up charging $600 because they claimed my sofa was 'oversized'. Took them to VCAT and got some money back, but what a hassle. Hope you get sorted – definitely report them to Consumer Protection.
