Hey everyone, I'm a foreign student here and I'm trying to open a bank account at Taichung Bank near the train station. I went there yesterday and the staff spoke mostly Chinese, which I'm still learning. They handed me a bunch of forms, but I'm not sure what I need to bring. Do I need my ARC or just my passport? Also, is there a minimum deposit? I've heard some banks require a certain amount to open an account. Any advice would be awesome! I'm near Yizhong Street if that helps. Thanks!
