Looking for a room near University of Warsaw

Hey everyone! I just moved to Warsaw for my studies at the University of Warsaw. I'm looking for a room or small apartment to rent, preferably within walking distance or a short tram ride from the main campus. My budget is around 2000-2500 PLN per month including bills. I've been checking OLX and some Facebook groups but a lot of listings seem sketchy. Anyone have tips on finding a legit place? Or if you know someone renting out a room, hit me up! I'm easygoing, don't smoke, and I'm clean. Would love to live with other students. Also, any areas to avoid? I've heard Praga Północ can be rough but not sure. Thanks in advance! 🙏

Yeah, Jeżyce is actually a great choice! I live nearby and it's really safe and lively, with lots of cafes and parks. Just avoid some parts of Wilda at night, but overall Poznan is pretty chill. You'll be fine there.

Hey, I totally get your concern! I'm also new here, and finding a safe area was my top priority. Jeżyce is actually quite nice and popular among expats – I've walked around there too and felt comfortable. From what I've heard, it's generally safe, but like anywhere, just stay aware at night. I ended up in Wilda and love it so far. Hope that helps a bit!

Hey, I totally get your concern! I moved here last year and felt the same. Jeżyce is actually great—safe, lots of cafes, and a nice vibe. I'd say avoid some parts of Wilda late at night, but overall Poznań is pretty safe. Good luck with the apartment hunt!

Hey, I’m also new to Poznan! Jeżyce is generally considered safe and has a nice vibe, especially around the market square. I’ve heard Wilda and Łazarz are good too. Just avoid some parts of Główna at night. Stay cautious like in any city, but you should be fine!
