Just moved to Kuala Belait and hired 'Speedy Movers Brunei' to transport my stuff from the port to my apartment near Panaga Club. They quoted $300, took a deposit of $150, and never showed up. Now they won't answer calls. I'm out of money and my belongings are stuck. Anyone else dealt with them? Avoid at all costs. Also, if you know a reliable moving service in KB, please share. Lesson learned: never pay upfront without a contract.

Same thing happened to me! I hired 'Speedy Movers Brunei' for a move from KB to Seria, paid $200 deposit, and they ghosted me. Turns out they're not registered with the Law Society (check their license plate—it's fake). File a report with the Labour Department or the police; locals told me this company pops up under new names every few months. Sorry you got burned too.
