Looking for weekend hiking buddies in Birmingham

Just moved here from abroad and I'm loving the UK so far, but I'm struggling to find people to explore the outdoors with. Is anyone up for a weekend hike around the Malvern Hills or maybe the Peak District? I don't have a car yet, so train-accessible spots are ideal. Also, if you know any good hiking groups that welcome beginners (I'm not a total newbie, just new to the area), please let me know. I'm based near the city centre and can meet at New Street station. Bonus points if you know a decent pub for post-hike food! Cheers!

Hey, welcome to the UK! I totally get the struggle - I moved here a few years back and finding hiking buddies was tough at first. The Malvern Hills are a great choice, lovely views. I'd be up for a weekend hike there or in the Peaks. Let me know if you want to plan something!
