Hey everyone – my current roommate is moving out at the end of the month, so I’m looking for someone to take over the empty room. It’s a two-bedroom apartment in Nanshan, like a 5-min walk from Keyuan metro, super convenient for tech park folks. Rent is 2500 RMB per month, utilities split equally. The apartment is clean, has a decent kitchen and a balcony with a view of the greenery. I work in IT, pretty chill, not a party animal but I’m down for a drink or a hike on weekends. 5-min walk from Keyuan? That's pretty prime. But you didn't mention rent or utilities—dealbreaker details. What's the split? Also, any pet restrictions? I've seen some places ban cats, which is a no-go for me. Fill me in before I get too interested.

5-min walk from Keyuan? That's suspiciously specific, almost too good to be true. Are you sure it's not a 10-min walk? Also, what's the rent? If it's cheap, I might know someone, but if it's over 4k, good luck finding a decent roommate in this economy.

Hey, I'd recommend checking out the area around Keyuan Metro station too. There are some newer apartments near the Hi-Tech Park that might be quieter. Also, consider sharing a WeChat group for Nanshan rentals—lots of expats post there. Your place sounds convenient though, good luck!

Hey, I live near Keyuan too! That location is super convenient for the tech park. Just a heads up, utilities in some older buildings around there can be pricier than expected, especially AC in summer. Ask the landlord for the average monthly bills before you commit. Also, check if the room has decent windows—some apartments in that area can get stuffy. Good luck!
