Hey everyone! I'm moving to the Gold Coast in a few weeks for my master's at Bond University. I've been searching online but honestly, it's a bit overwhelming. Anyone know of a good shared apartment or a studio near the uni that won't break the bank? I'm looking for something under $250 a week, furnished if possible. I'm tidy, friendly, and don't party much. If you or someone you know has a room, hit me up! Also, any tips on which suburbs are safe and close to campus? I heard Robina and Varsity Lakes are popular, but not sure. Cheers! 🏄‍♂️

Hey mate, welcome to the Gold Coast! Bond Uni's in Robina, and there's heaps of student share houses around Varsity Lakes and Robina itself. Check flatmates.com.au and the Bond Uni noticeboard – that's where most students post. Also, try Facebook groups like 'Gold Coast Rentals' or 'Bond Uni Housing'. Mid-July is prime time, so act fast. Good luck with the master's!

Bond Uni area? Good luck with that, mate. Mid-July is peak season, and places go fast. Have you checked Flatmates.com.au or the Bond student noticeboards? Might be better than generic sites. Just saying, you'll need to act quick—don't expect to find a gem without some legwork.

Hey! If you're struggling with the usual rental sites, try Facebook groups like 'Gold Coast Rentals' or 'Bond University Housing.' Also, flatmates.com.au is popular here. I found my place through a local noticeboard at a café near campus. Good luck!

Hey! I'm also moving to the Gold Coast soon for work, so I know how you feel. What's your budget range for a room? And are you open to living a bit further from campus if it's cheaper? I've seen some decent places around Robina that might work.

Hey! I'd actually suggest being cautious about shared apartments near Bond. The ones advertised online in the Robina/Varsity Lakes area are often overpriced and have strict landlord rules. I've seen some decent rooms pop up on local Facebook groups instead. Might be worth checking those out before committing to anything online. Just my two cents!

Have you tried Flatmates.com.au? Found a few leads there. Also, watch out for scams on Facebook groups. Let me know if you find anything good!
