Hey everyone! Just moved to Novi Sad a couple weeks ago for studies and I'm trying to figure out the best way to get around without breaking the bank. Biking seems like a solid option, but I'm not sure about the rules here. Do I need a helmet by law? Also, are there any bike lanes that actually connect the main spots? I saw some painted paths near the Danube but they kinda end suddenly. Also, is it safe to lock a bike outside overnight? I live near the city center and my building has no storage. Any recommendations for a decent second-hand bike shop? Would love to hear from locals or other expats who cycle regularly. Thanks in advance!
