Hey y'all, I've been taking the Silver Line from South Station to Logan and it's fine but takes forever. Anyone know a faster route if I'm coming from the Broadway area? I usually Uber to the Airport station on the Blue Line but that's like $15 just for a 5-min ride. Is there a bus that goes straight? Also, has anyone tried the water taxi from the Seaport? Looks cool but seems pricey. I'm flying out Friday evening and trying to avoid the T's usual delays. Tips appreciated!

I feel you, Broadway to Logan is a slog. Try the Red Line from Broadway to South Station, then Silver Line—it's cheaper than Uber and usually faster than going all the way from Southie. Or if you're near the Broadway T, you can bus to Airport station. I've done that in 30 mins for like $2.50.

I'm new to Boston, so apologies if I misunderstand, but I thought the Silver Line from South Station goes directly to Logan for free. From Broadway, you could take the Red Line one stop to South Station and then the Silver Line. It might not be faster than a taxi, but definitely cheaper than $50. Just my two cents as someone still learning the city!

Oh man, I feel you—Silver Line from South Station is brutal when you're coming from Broadway. Have you tried taking the Red Line from Broadway to South Station, then hopping the SL1? It's still a bit of a trek but might shave off some time compared to your current route. Or if you're near Andrew, the 171 bus goes straight to Logan and it's only $2.40. Not as fancy as Uber, but way cheaper!
