Hey everyone, I just moved to Surabaya for a semester exchange at Universitas Airlangga and I’m struggling to find a decent place to stay. I’ve checked some online listings but they’re either too expensive or way too far from campus. Does anyone know a kos or apartment near the C campus that’s affordable (under 1.5 million IDR per month) and preferably with AC? I’m okay with a shared room if the housemates are chill. Also, any tips on how to avoid getting scammed when renting here? I heard some landlords ask for huge deposits upfront. Would really appreciate any help – thanks!
