Hey everyone, just landed in Hong Kong a couple weeks ago and I'm trying to figure out where to settle in Central. I've been staying in a hostel near Lan Kwai Fong, which is fun but way too loud at night. I'm looking for a place that's walking distance to the MTR and has some good local food options. Not really into the super touristy areas. Any suggestions? I've heard of Sheung Wan and Mid-Levels but not sure if they're right for me. Also, what's the deal with serviced apartments vs. regular flats? Any advice would be awesome. Thanks! 😅

I respectfully disagree about Central being ideal for settling down. While it's convenient for work, the noise never stops, even outside LKF. I'd suggest looking at Mid-Levels or Sheung Wan instead—quieter at night, still walkable to Central, and you'll get more space for your money. The escalator makes the commute easy too. Give it a thought!
