Hey everyone, I just arrived in Nis and I'm totally lost with the bus system. I tried to buy a ticket from a kiosk near the train station, but the lady just shrugged and said something in Serbian. I ended up paying the driver cash, but he seemed annoyed. Is there a secret code? Like, do I need to validate it somewhere? Also, is the BusPlus card worth it for a week? I'll be going to Tvrđava and maybe Bubanj Memorial Park a few times. I'm used to tapping my phone in London, so this feels so old-school. Any tips? Thanks in advance!

I’d skip Tornik if you don’t have a car. It’s more of a quick stop than a half-day thing—basically a gondola ride and a view. Instead, take a bus to the nature park near Ribnica or just wander the main walking trail from Zlatibor center. You’ll get more out of a relaxed stroll with cafés than the hassle of getting to Tornik without wheels.
