Hey everyone, just moved to Edmonton for work and I'm looking for a place near downtown. I've heard mixed things about some areas—like Oliver is good but maybe too rowdy at night? And I've seen cheap rentals in McCauley but someone told me it's sketchy. Can anyone recommend a neighborhood that's walkable to grocery stores and transit, but also safe for a woman living alone? I don't have a car so I need buses or LRT nearby. Also, is the University area any good for non-students? Thanks in advance, I'm a bit lost here.
