Hey everyone, I'm a student from abroad and just got a place near Mody Road in TST. It seems lively, but I've heard mixed things about some side streets around the Chungking Mansions area. Anyone know if it's actually sketchy or just a lot of noise? Also, I was looking at a flat on Carnarvon Road but the agent said it's a 'good deal' – that feels like a red flag. What's the vibe around Haiphong Road at night? Appreciate any honest advice – I don't want to end up somewhere dodgy by accident.
