Hey everyone! I just moved to Istanbul a couple weeks ago and I'm finally free this weekend to explore. I've already done the big tourist stuff like Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar (loved it but so crowded!). Now I'm looking for something more local or off the beaten path. A friend mentioned Kadıköy on the Asian side – is that worth the ferry ride? Also, I heard about some cool street art in Karaköy or maybe a good spot for breakfast like Çınaraltı in Beşiktaş? I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the options, honestly. I don't want to end up in a tourist trap again. Any recommendations for a relaxed but fun weekend? Maybe a park where locals hang out, or a cool café with a view? Thanks in advance!
