Moving into a new unfurnished flat in Peckham and I refuse to buy flat-pack rubbish from IKEA that disintegrates after a year. Want to find some solid vintage pieces — midcentury desk, maybe a nice wooden dining table, some proper bookshelves. Anyone know good spots for vintage furniture that aren't charging Shoreditch designer prices?

What's your actual budget per piece? 'Not Shoreditch prices' could mean 200 or 800. Makes a big difference on where to send you.

The Emmaus charity shop in Greenwich often has solid wooden furniture. It's a charity so prices are reasonable and they deliver locally.
