Best place for winter tires in Vancouver?

Do you have AWD or FWD? Makes a difference on what tires to recommend for the Sea-to-Sky. AWD with good mud-and-snow rated tires might actually be fine.

Just moved to Vancouver from Toronto and everyone keeps telling me I don't need winter tires here. But I drive to Whistler most weekends in winter and the highway gets sketchy. Any recommendations for a good tire shop that won't rip me off? Also where the heck do people store their off-season tires when they live in a 600 sq ft condo?

Some dealerships offer tire storage for about 100-150 per season. Also check with your condo building — some have storage lockers for rent.

Vancouver drivers overthink winter tires. I lived in Montreal for ten years and drove through actual blizzards. The Sea-to-Sky in winter is a mild inconvenience compared to Quebec highways in January. You'll be fine.
