Finally went to La Banquise in Montreal after years of people telling me it's either the best or most overrated poutine in the city. Got the classic with extra cheese curds. The squeak was perfect, the gravy was dark and beefy, the fries stayed crispy for way longer than expected. I get the hype now. My arteries may never forgive me but my soul is at peace.
