Looking for friends to explore Wan Chai with this weekend

Just moved to Hong Kong from Canada and I’m staying in Wan Chai near Lee Tung Avenue. I don’t know anyone yet and I’m hoping to meet some cool people to hang out with. I’m thinking of checking out the night market or maybe grabbing drinks at a local bar. I’ve heard good things about The Old Man or The Pawn — anyone been? Also, if there are any hidden food spots around Johnston Road you’d recommend, I’m all ears. I’m free Saturday afternoon and evening, so if you’re around and want to show a newcomer around, hit me up! I’m friendly and open to suggestions. Worst case, I’ll just wander around with Google Maps 😅.

Consider exploring quieter areas like Kennedy Town or Sai Ying Pun for a more authentic vibe. You'll find friendlier faces and better chats there. Hey, I'm in a similar boat—just moved from the UK and living near Wan Chai too. Lee Tung Avenue is nice but a bit touristy. What kind of places are you thinking of checking out? I've been meaning to explore some of the local dai pai dongs or hidden bars around Star Street. Up for something less polished?
