Hey everyone, I just landed in Chicago a couple weeks ago and I keep hearing about this Taste of Chicago thing happening in Grant Park next week. Is it actually worth going to? I'm from a small town in Brazil so big festivals like this are new to me. Do you have to pay for food samples or is it more like a free event? Also, I saw something about fireworks on the last night — do people just hang out on the grass or is it super crowded? I'd love to meet some people to go with since I'm still trying to make friends here. If anyone's planning to go and wouldn't mind a tagalong, hit me up! I'll bring snacks or something haha.
