Hey everyone, I just moved to Singapore for uni and I'm looking at apartments around Kampong Glam. I've heard it's a cool area with lots of cafes and the Sultan Mosque, but I'm not sure which part is best for a student on a budget. Ideally, I want something close to Arab Street or Haji Lane, but not too noisy at night. Also, is it easy to find a room for around $800 a month? Any tips on which streets to focus on or avoid? I'm excited to explore the neighborhood but a bit overwhelmed with all the options. Thanks!
