Hey everyone, I’m new to Wroclaw and just got a notice from my landlord that my rent is going up by 20% starting next month. They said it’s because of inflation and rising costs, but I checked similar apartments in the area and they’re still cheaper than what I’d be paying after this increase. I’m near the Rynek, so maybe that’s why? Has anyone dealt with this? Can they just raise it like that? I’m on a fixed-term contract, but it says something about indexation. I’m honestly stressed because I don’t want to move again so soon. Any tips on negotiating or legal stuff? I’d appreciate any experiences you’ve had with landlords here. Thanks!
