Been in Taichung for a few months and I thought I had the recycling system down, but now I'm not so sure. My neighbor got mad at me for putting a milk carton in the wrong bin – apparently you have to rinse it AND cut it open? And the truck schedules seem to change without warning. One day they come at 7am, next day not until 8pm. I'm worried I'll get fined. Anyone else have trouble with this? Also, is it true you can't throw away certain things on Sundays? Might just start hoarding trash out of confusion. At least the night markets never disappoint.
