Just a heads-up for anyone flat-hunting in Liverpool – steer clear of Let's Rent Liverpool. I viewed a flat on Park Road that looked decent in the pics, but when I got there, the damp was so bad you could smell it from the hallway. The agent rushed me through the tour, kept saying 'it'll be sorted before you move in'. Yeah, right. My mate moved into one of their properties near Lark Lane and had mould growing behind the wardrobe within a month. Landlord took three weeks to send someone who just painted over it. Proper cowboy outfit. If you're looking, stick to smaller independent landlords or check out the Liverpool Rentals Facebook group – way more genuine people there. Any other dodgy agents I should know about?
