Hey everyone, just moved to Canberra from overseas and my car's making a weird noise when I brake. I'm on a tight budget so I need someone who won't rip me off. Anyone know a good mechanic near Belconnen that does honest work? I'd prefer a small shop over a big chain. Cheers!

Mate, I feel you! I moved here from the UK a few years back and had the same issue with my old Corolla. Try Steve at Belco Auto Service in Macquarie—he's honest and won't overcharge. He fixed my brakes for half what others quoted. Just ring ahead, he's usually flat out. Good luck with the car!
